EL TEMA D’AVUI – THE CULT – RISE

Després de dos únics álbums gravats als 90’s, Ceremony (1.991) i The Cult (1.994), els problemes personals entre Ian Astbury i Billy Duffy, que ja venien de lluny, van acabar fent-se insostenibles, i provocant el final del grup.

Final? Doncs, bé, com aquelles parelles que tant s’estimen com s’odien a mort, però no poden passar l’un sense l’altre, a finals del 2.000 van tornar a sonar els rumors que anunciaven un retorn d’una de les bandes més excitants del planeta.

Així va ser, finalment signàven una trègua i tornàven a l’estudi per parir el seu setè disc, publicat el juny del 2.001, anomenat Beyond Good and Evil, i demostrant que continuaven essent els reis en el seu estil, amb bombes del nivell d’aquest Rise.

¿Final? Bueno, no realmente. Como aquellas parejas que tanto se aman como se odian a muerte, pero que no pueden pasar uno sin el otro, a finales del 2.000 volvieron a sonar los rumores de una reunión de una de las bandas más excitantes del planeta.

Así fué, finalmente firmaban una tregua y volvían al estudio para parir su séptimo disco, publicado en junio del 2.001, llamado Beyond Good and Evil, y demostrando que continuaban siendo los reyes en su estilo, con bombas del nivel de este Rise.

¿La Fin? Ben, pas certainement. Comme ces couples qui s’aiment comme ils s’haïrent, mais ils ne peuvent pas être l’un sans l’autre, à la fin des 2.000, nous avons reçu, des rumeurs sur une nouvelle réunion d’une des bandes plus excitantes du planète.

A la fin, ils ont signé une trêve et ils sont rentrés dans l’étude pour vêler leur septième disque, publié au juin 2.001, nommé Beyond Good and Evil, et où ils confirmaient qu’ils étaient les rois dans leur style, avec des bombes du calibre de ce Rise.
